I finally uploaded photos from a summer Saturday trip to Thomas Edison’s laboratory and home in West Orange, NJ. The labs and manufacturing areas were full of exposed belts and metal, lying in wait for decades to sever the next finger/hand/limb that comes along.
After the self-guided lab tour and a house tour led by a National Park Ranger, Ramsey and I concluded that while brilliant, Edison seemed like a real asshole.
